Worsted: a fine yarn, which has been spun from combed wool to remove the short fibres, producing a smooth lustrous yarn

Mohair: yarn spun from the angora goat’s long glossy hair

Silk: yarn produced from the protein filament formed into a cocoon by the larva of the silk moth
